saratranslation was set up in 2015 out of a simple frustration: the difficulty of finding translators who combined genuine subject knowledge with language fluency. Too many projects came back with the right target-language terminology but the wrong technical or editorial interpretation.
The solution was to build a network of specialist linguists in Porto and across Portugal, each recruited first for their subject expertise and second for their language skills. A life sciences translator has a background in pharmacy or clinical medicine. A literary translator has a proven editorial history.
We work with businesses in Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Germany, and the UK. All services are delivered digitally. There are no offices to visit, no time wasted on logistics. Our priority is the quality of the delivered work.
